Varun Dhawan, who recently delivered hit film "Dishoom," hinted that he might be collaborating with "ABCD 2" director Remo D'Souza for the third instalment of the dance film.
"ABCD" (Any Body Can Dance) is a successful dance franchise. The first part featuring "Dance India Dance" dancers was released in 2013 and the second instalment, starring Varun and Shraddha Kapoor, was released in 2015. After the success of "ABCD," director Remo took the story forward with "ABCD 2," which became a blockbuster hit. And now, the director plans to make the third film in the dance series
Reports suggest that Remo approached Varun for the third instalment, but for the leading lady's role Jacqueline Fernandez might replace Shraddha. However, all these are mere speculations, as there has been no official announcement on the same.
When Varun was asked about working with Remo in "ABCD 3," he said that there might be a possibility and it will be revealed soon. "Is there anything happening? There is still a lot of time. I don't want to spoil (the news). I always want to work with Remo sir and I'll just say that. I had a great association with him and so was the case with Disney. Let's see, something or the other I might do with Remo. Whether ABCD 3 is happening with Remo or no, we will come to know soon," he told Pinkvilla.
Meanwhile, Remo will start shooting for the film in February and this time, the makers will use 3D upgraded technology to make the third instalment bigger than the second film. When asked about the cast, Remo said they are still working on the script.
"Prabhu Deva and the rest of the cast will definitely be there and, right now, work on the script is under process. Tiger is definitely a good dancer but it's too early to talk about it," Remo told Box Office Capsule.
