Bollywood's young brigade is gearing up for "Dream Team" concert that will kick-start on Aug.12 at Houston and then move to San Jose, Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles and New York. The six-city tour is scheduled to come to a close on Aug. 21.
Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and Aditya Roy Kapur will be primary performers, with occasional appearances by producer-director Karan Johar. The acts have choreographed by Remo D'Souza, Binny Jonny and Punit Pathak.
While most of the stars have been going for regular rehearsals, Varun hasn't had the time to prep for the tour as he was busy promoting "Dishoom," which is performing decently at the box office. He has just begun and is excited about his acts.
"I am doing a song on Kuch Kuch Hota Hai with Alia and Parineeti. We will recreate that. I will be performing on Sau Tarah Ke while Parineeti will be performing to Jaaneman Aah. We are also doing a Dharma act in which Karan Johar will be dancing to Shava Shava. There could be a jugalbandi with Katrina Kaif and me" he told the Indian Express.
A few months ago, Remo revealed what one can expect from the show. He confirmed that there will be aerial acts, but no fireworks. "DJ Waley Babu," "Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai," "Kar Gayi Chull" and "Saturday Saturday" are some of the songs the stars will dance to, he said.
While most stars are set to set the stage on fire with their killer moves, Aditya, who is not known for his dancing skills, will have a slow-romantic number with the ladies.
