"The Vampire Diaries" alum Nina Dobrev is not known for posting scandalous pictures on her Instagram page. So on Thursday, when she decided to post a picture of her bare butt, a good number of her fans were quick to notice.
The photograph in question was initially posted by Julianne Hough and Dobrev reposted it, captioning: "Four Full moons in Ida-hoe #Cheeky." In the picture, the girls are joined by actress Milissa Sears and all three have ditched their bikini bottoms.
While the majority of comments were positive, there were quite a few who blamed Dobrev for corrupting young minds by posting semi nude pictures. "I like nina and i dont think shes a slut never said that but a pic like this is bad for her 9.5 mil followers including young kids exposed to nudity, perverted people, creeps, and ya u can say y dont u blame them well i blame creeps and pervs but children have young innocent minds how do they know so posting a pic like this is not wise its shameless and plain selfish," wrote one fan.
Interestingly, some even attempted to link Dobrev's ex Ian Somerhalder to this whole situation, saying she posted the picture to make him jealous.
Somerhalder and Dobrev dated for almost three years before calling it quits in 2013. Although the duo is said to have remained friends, reports indicate that their relationship went south after Somerhalder started dating Nikki Reed, who was one of Dobrev's friend. This strained relationship was said to be one of the reasons why Dobrev quit "The Vampire Diaries" after Season 6.
However, according to Dobrev, there is no animosity between her and Somerhalder and she has nothing but love for him. "I've said this before, that we didn't break up because anything bad happened or because there wasn't love or friendship," Dobrev told E!News back in May 2015. "I love him and the friendship is still strong and I think he's great and I care about him. And that didn't change. Yes, we're professional and that's fine. We were friends long before we dated and we still are now."
