Malayalam director Rishi Sivakumar has entered into wedlock with Lakshmi Premkumar, an employee of the TV channel Reporter. The wedding ceremony took place in Kozhikode on Sunday, April 17, while the reception was held at Mahatma Gandhi Auditorium in Ponkunnam, Kottayam on Monday.
"Wish u a vry happy married life dear Rishi Sivakumar Sivakumar and Lakshmi Premkumar [sic]," actor Nandan Unni, who attended the function, posted on Facebook while sharing his selfie with the couple.
The month of April seems to be special for Rishi as his directorial debut "Valliyum Thetti Pulliyum Thetti" (VTPT) is poised to hit the screens on April 28. The Kunchacko Boban-starrer, earlier announced as a Vishu (April 14) release, marks the entry of National Award winning child-actress Shamili as a heroine in Malayalam cinema. The actress makes her comeback to the industry after starring in the superhit Mohanlal-Mammootty starrer "Harikrishnans," released 18 years ago.
The colourful posters and two-minute-five-second trailer of "VTPT" have already raised the audience's expectations from the movie, which is set in a village in 1989. "VTPT" has an ensemble cast, including Miya, Muthumani, Sreejith Ravi, Aneesh G Menon, Krishna Sankar, Nandan Unni, Seema G Nair, and Midhun Nair in significant roles.

The movie, a production venture of Faizal Latheef under the banner of Achappu Movie Magic, is set to lock horns with Prithviraj Sukumaran-Vedhika-starrer "James and Alice," which is scheduled for an April 19 release.
