Jordan Spieth has been impressive ever since the US Masters 2015 kicked off as the American has been consistent throughout to go in as favourites to win the title on the final day of the competition.
There were talks about golfers such as, Rory Mcllroy, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson , but they have not been able to do anything to stop this American from climbing the top of the standings table. With the form Spieth has shown in the last three days, it would be a huge surprise if the world number 4 fails to walk away with the prestigious title.
But, the American knows what it means to come close to a Masters victory as he threw it away last year and would be eager not to panic under pressure this time around, if things do not go according to his plan.
He would be more than determined to grab that Green Jacket after last year's disappointment, where Bubba Watson walked off with the title.
"Last year definitely left a bad taste in my mouth," ESPN quoted Spieth as saying. "I've been looking to get back, looking at trying to get some revenge."
Spieth currently has a four stroke lead on Justin Rose, who is in second position.
Other top golfers, such as Tiger Woods and Rory Mcllroy lie tied on the fifth position and Phil Mickelson is third. But, Mickleson, who is one of the experienced players in the circuit, would be eager to beat the 21-year-old, as Mickelson has won the elusive green jacket three times and might be lucky if the 2015 Masters proves to be his fourth.
Woods has been decent in the competition, especially considering that the ongoing competition is his come-back tournament as well. He shot 4-under 68 in the third round.
McLlroy hopes that Spieth might have learned from his experience last year.
"I think the good thing for him is he's already experienced it once," McIlroy said.
"He's played in the final group at the Masters before. It didn't quite happen for him last year, but I think he'll have learned from that experience. I think all that put together, he'll definitely handle it a lot better than I did."
If the American wins the title, he would be the second-youngest winner in Masters history as well and it would be a proud moment for the American to wear that Green Jacket at such a young age.
