Geetha Govindam has made bigger collections than Manu, Silly Fellows and Premaku Rain Check at the US box office, while Care Of Kancharapalem topped the business charts in its fourth weekend.
Geetha Govindam, which took the US box office by storm for three weeks, clashed Care Of Kancharapalem, Manu, Silly Fellows and Premaku Rain Check in its fourth week. Trade experts predicted that the new releases would force it out of some cinema halls and also affect its collection, by making it the last choice for the viewers.
But the Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna starrer was undeterred by them and went on to do better business. Geetha Govindam has collected $33,362 at the US box office in three days of its fourth week and its 25-day total collection has reached $2,429,054. Its breakup is $2,323 on Thursday, $9,911 on Friday and $21,128 on Saturday.
The Maha Venkatesh-directed film opened to decent response in the US and showed decent growth on the next day. Care Of Kancharapalem has collected $140,902 at the US box office in two days. Its breakup is $55,397 on Friday, $85,505 on Saturday. It has topped the US business chart for the Telugu movies, beating others.
The Allari Naresh and Sunil starrer opened to an average response in the US and showed some growth on Friday and Saturday. However, its growth was not so big. Silly Fellows collected $8,297 at the US box office in three days. Its breakup is $1,399 on Thursday, $3,048 on Friday and $3,654 on Saturday.
Manu has fared well and collected $30,759 at the US box office in two days. Its breakup is $18,306 on Friday and $12,454 on Saturday. Among the new releases, Premaku Rain Check is the worst performer as it collected $674 at the US box office in two days. Its breakup is $438 on Friday and $236 on Saturday.
