SS Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Conclusion (Bahubali 2) has landed in the third spot at the US box office with its opening weekend collection of $10.35 million. The epic drama is just behind The Fate and the Furious (Fast and Furious 8) and How to Be a Latin Lover at the box office.
Baahubali 2, starring Prabhas and Rana Daggubati, started on a good note at the US box office and earned $4.75 million on its opening day. The film had recorded the second-best Friday collection at the box office after Fast and Furious 8 and now the film took the third spot on the list.

Vin Diesel's Fast and Furious earned $19.93 million in its third weekend from 4,077 screens, followed by Eugenio Derbez and Salma Hayek-starrer How to Be a Latin Lover that earned $12.25 million on its first weekend from 1,118 screens. The third film in the list is Indian film Baahuabli 2 that fetched $10.35 million from around 425 screens in the US on its opening weekend.
It can be noted that, the screen count of Baahubali 2 is just 425, which is lower than the screen counts of Fast and Furious 8 and Latin Lover. However, the collection of the Indian film is close to Latin Lover's three-day collection.
Meanwhile, Baahubali 2 has left behind Emma Watson and Tom Hanks-starrer The Circle. The film earned $9.03 million in its opening weekend from 3,163 screens, according to Box Office Mojo.
Baahubali 2 is shattering records worldwide. Rajamouli's directorial is the first Indian film to compete with Hollywood films worldwide. In India, the film is creating history with its phenomenal box office collection. The opening weekend box office collection of Baahubali 2 stands at Rs 303 crore, which includes Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi version. The three-day collection has been a record as none of the Indian films have crossed Rs 300 crore mark in just three days.
