Rega Sindhu killed in road accident in Tamil Nadu; final rites to be performed tomorrow
There were reports in Tamil media that Kannada actress Rekha Krishnappa died in a road accident on Friday, May 5. It was speculated that she was killed in a road accident on Chennai-Bengaluru National Highway near Sunnampukuttai village, Vellore.
Rekha Krishnappa took to Facebook to put the death rumours to rest. The actress says that she is fine and presently in Sringeri apparently travelling with her family members. "I am all fine guys.....at present in Sringeri. sharada petta temple," she posted.
The reports had claimed that Rekha died on spot, while three others were seriously injured. The three men were identified as Abishek kumaran (22), Jayachandran (23) from Chengalpattu, Rakshan (20) from Chennai.
Rekha Krishnappa is a popular name in Kannada television industry. She is well-known actress among Tamil audience as Deivamagal Gayathri.
Meanwhile, Kannada television channels have reported that a model named Rega Sindhu was killed in the road accident and this lead to a lot of speculations. She was travelling with five others when their vehicle rammed into a divider in Chennai.
Banaswadi-based Rega Sindhu was in Chennai on an assignment.
