The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results of the civil services examination conducted in 2014, on Saturday, 4 July.
The results are available on the Commission's official website.
A total number of 1236 candidates have been recommended for appointment and four of top five rank holders are girls.

Keralites Shine in Civil Service 2014 Results
While the preliminary examination was conducted on 24 August at 2,137 venues in 59 centres across India, the main exam was conducted in December, for which 16,286 qualified candidates had appeared to fill 1,364 posts.
In all, about 9.45 lakh candidates applied for the preliminary exam but only about 4.51 lakh appeared.
The personality tests were conducted from 27 April to 30 June.
The prestigious exam to recruit IAS, IPS and IFS officers is conducted annually by the UPSC in three stages — preliminary, mains and interview.
