Real Star Upendra has released one more teaser of his forthcoming movie "Uppi 2" and the short video-clip has turned out to be an instant hit with his fans.
The actor-director has not yet released the trailer of "Uppi 2", as he does not want to give away any information about the latest flick. He has released two teasers of the flick until now, of which the second was released on Sunday, 9 August.
The latest teaser displays Upendra doing Shirshasana (headstand yoga posture) and he looks like an agori (sadhu). As expected, the video-clip is difficult to decipher and his pet idea of confusing audience has continued in this too. Gurukiran's background score is top notch and gets huge appreciation.
Meanwhile, the audio of "Uppi 2" Telugu version has been released. The music of the movie, which is titled "Upendra 2", was released by leading Telugu filmmaker SS Vinayak. Dil Raju, DV Danaiah and many others graced the function.
The movie is getting ready for its release in Kannada and Telugu on 14 August and it has been allotted over 600 screens.
The movie is a sequel to the director-turned-actor's 1999 movie "Upendra". The first instalment was a blockbuster, despite being highly controversial. It showcased the desires of men through symbolic roles and revolved around self and selfishness.
Raveena Tandon, Prema and Damini had starred in the old movie, which was written and directed by Upendra himself. In the new movie, Parul Yadav and Kristina Akheeva are in the female lead roles.
Gurukiran has given music in the film, Ashok Cashyap has done the cinematography and Sri Crazy Minds took care of the editing. The project has been bankrolled by Upendra's wife Priyanka.
