Many celebrities from Kerala are planning to get married this year.
Asin Thottumkal, Muktha, Archana Kavi, Saranya Mohan and director Alphonse Puthren, who hail from Kerala, are prepping to bid adieu to their single status.
Although Asin, who was born and brought up in Kerala, began her acting career in Malayalam, she became a household name in Kollywood and later appeared in some Bollywood projects. Asin recently made headlines after the news of her impending wedding with Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma hit the cyber space. The actress also revealed that the couple will get married by the end of this year.
Just a day after the news of Asin's wedding surfaced on social media, reports emerged that South Indian actress Muktha, who is known for her roles in "Achanurangatha Veedu" and "Thaamirabharani", will marry popular singer Rimi Tomy's brother Rinku. Muktha confirmed the news via Facebook. The actress will tie the knot on 30 August at St George Church, Edapally, Kochi.

The "Neelathamara" actress Archana is reportedly planning to marry popular stand-up comedian Abish Mathew, who is known for his solo comedy shows like "Son of Abish". However, the actress hasn't confirmed the wedding rumours.
Alphonse, who is basking in the success of his latest film "Premam" that starred Nivin Pauly in the lead, will marry producer Alwin Antony's daughter Aleena Mary Antony on 22 August. Their engagement will be held on 17 August.
Popular South Indian actress Saranya Mohan, who is known for her role in "Yaaradi Nee Mohini" is also set to enter wedlock soon. The actress confirmed the news on the day of her engagement through her Facebook handle. She is engaged to Arvind Krishnan, a doctor.
