A few days ago, there were reports of Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan making his debut in the Telugu film industry with the much awaited project "Janatha Garage". Reports also suggested that the young actor will be seen as superstar Mohanlal's son in the Koratala Siva directorial that also stars Junior NTR.
However, Unni has now come forward slamming the rumours of being part of the Telugu project, saying he hasn't committed any Tollywood project. "Hi, just an FYI... I've not committed any Telegu movie... Good day ☺☺☺ (sic)", Unni recently posted on his Facebook page.
Unni's action thriller "Style" was the first Malayalam release of the year. The Binu S directorial received tremendous responses from the audience and critics alike and made good business at the Kerala box office. Unni was applauded for his performance as car mechanic Tom and the stunt sequences in the film were compared to the style of many big-budget action films in other languages. "Style" has been tagged as a good watchable commercial entertainer of the year.
The stylish actor will be next seen in debutant Sajan K Mathew's "Oru Murai Vanthu Parthaya" in the role of an electrician, Prakashan. The movie is expected to go on floors on 28 January in Palakkad and latest reports suggest that Prayaga Martin will be seen opposite Unni in the upcoming family entertainer. Actress Kalpana, who passed away on Monday after a heart attack, was also expected to be part of the upcoming movie.

"This 28th I was supposed to start my shoot with her (Kalpana) ... discussed so many things and she was so happy and healthy ... terribly shattered.... sometimes gods ways are way too mysterious for our minds," Unni writes on his Facebook page upon the death of Kalpana.
Unni is also expected to be part of Harikumar's directorial venture "Kaattum Mazhayum" in the role of Jayanarayanan.
