Ever since KBS aired the finale of Uncontrollably Fond, the Kim Woo Bin and Suzy Bae-starrer romance drama, fans are eager to know about its renewal.

However, the South Korean broadcasting network and the cast members of the period drama do not seem to be very optimistic about a sequel. While viewers believe that there is room for a second season, KBS seems to have put to rest the idea for a reboot due to its poor ratings.

The mini-series, which was among the top 10 highest-rated Korean shows, witnessed a decline in viewership towards the finale. So reports suggest that the network might not consider a renewal of Uncontrollably Fond.

Meanwhile, there is also a buzz that KBS is searching for new cast members for Uncontrollably Fond season 2. According to a report by FX News Call, Kim Woo Bin and Suzy Bae are not very keen to be back on the show, so the network has apparently begun contract negotiations for new cast members.

However, the admirers of the popular period drama will have to wait for an official announcement from the South Korean broadcasting network to know more about Uncontrollably Fond season 2.

The Korean mini-series, which revolves around the life of two friends â€" Shin Joon-young and No Eul â€" premiered on KBS last July and aired its finale on September 8.
