American two-wheeler manufacturer UM Motorcycles is on an expansion spree in India. After opening its 10th dealership in Bengaluru last week, the two-wheeler manufacturer has announced the launch of a new dealership in Gujarat.
The 11th dealership of UM Motorcycles in India is in Vadodara. Called UM Vadodara, the new dealership of UM has a showroom integrated with an after-sales service facility.
"The Vadodara dealership represents UM Motorcycles' second dealership in the state of Gujarat, with the first being in Surat. It underlines the importance, UM Motorcycle accords to the market of Gujarat. The state has emerged as a very strong market in the Western region for cruiser bikes and the opening of this showroom is a testimony to this fact," said Rajeev Mishra, Director UML.
The showroom will have Renegade Commando and Renegade Sports S on display and is expected to be joined by the third model Renegade Classic soon.
UM Motorcycles, which began its journey in India with Renegade Commando and Renegade Sport S at Auto Expo 2016 is expected to launch Renegade Classic in India in March. The third motorcycle of UM will be priced at Rs 1.69 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
UM's Renegade Commando has been priced at Rs 1.59 lakh, while Renegade Sport S costs Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Both the motorcycles come powered with a 280cc single-cylinder water-cooled engine that develops 25bhp of power at 8,500rpm and 21.8Nm of torque at 7,000rpm, mated to six-speed transmission.
"This dealership will house our flagship products like Renegade Commando and Renegade Sports S. The prospective customers of UM Motorcycles in Vadodara will be able to discover our products up close and personal at this new dealership," Mishra added.
