After weeks of speculations, consumer electronics giant Samsung launched the sleek Galaxy A8 in China on Tuesday, 14 July.
The new Samsung Galaxy A8 measures just 5.9mm, making it the slimmest Galaxy series smartphone in the company's history. It also flaunts metal chassis around the edges giving a sense of premium and also sturdy structure capable to withstand accidental drop.
Another notable feature of Galaxy A8 is that it boasts the new improved finger-print scanner on the home button similar to the one we see in the current marquee phone Galaxy S6 (& S6 Edge).
Other stipulated features include 5.7-inch full HD display with 401ppi (pixels per inch) and run on the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop backed by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 615 Octa-core SoC (System on Chip), 2GB RAM, 16GB/32GB inbuilt memory, 16mp main camera and a 5mp snapper on the front.
