Canadian smartphone maker BlackBerry officially announced the company's first ever Android handset Priv registrations last week, but refrained from revealing its key features.
Now, a popular UK Carphone Warehouse has listed the BlackBerry Priv on its official site, revealing the device's price (un-locked) and specification details.
As per the listing, the new BlackBerry Priv sports 5.4-inch QHD AMOLED-based sliding display with QWERTY physical keyboard.
Under the hood, it runs on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS powered by the 64-bit Snapdragon 808 Hexa-core similar to the one we find in the recently released Google-LG Nexus 5X and G4.
It is backed by sumptuous 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt memory and a high capacity 3450 mAh battery, which we believe is enough to run the phone for the whole day.
On the photography front, BlackBerry Priv boasts 18MP camera with dual-Led flash on the rear-side and a 2MP front-facing snapper.
Prospective buyers have to shell out awhopping £579.99 (British pound) for BlackBerry Priv (unlocked), says Carphone Warehouse.
As per initial reports, BlackBerry Priv will be made available in select markets of America, Europe and other developed markets. However, there is no word on when the new device will be released in emerging markets like India. Stay tuned for more updates.
