The British ambassador to Tunisia, Hamish Cowell, laid a wreath on 3 July at a memorial to where 38 foreigners were killed by an Islamist gunman in the resort town of Sousse.
Thirty of the victims were British holidaymakers, along with three Irish, two German, one Belgian, one Russian and one Portuguese. Cowell called the attack appalling and cowardly.
Our thoughts are with the families and friends of those victims and we are doing everything we can with them to help them in this awful and difficult time, Cowell said.
He said all of the injured tourists had been flown back home and that Britain would help with improving security in the beach town.
The British victims have all been identified and the Royal Air Force is in the process of repatriating the bodies.
