Several Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) have been spotted flying over the skies of California on the New Year's Eve.
According to News10 report, many have spotted the mysterious lights in the sky on the New Year's Eve from Placer County to the Hollywood Hills. The glowing objects were said to be in different shapes as some described it as egg-shaped light and other as diamond-shaped objects.
"Whatever it was moved up and to the left," Steven Brown of Sacramento who saw the mysterious object above Belle Cooledge Park told News 10.He further added "It hovered there for probably about 60 seconds, then it took off at a high rate of speed."
Terry and Hans Mauth, residents of Auburn also witnessed the similar phenomenon in the sky on the same evening. "There was no sound, that's the funny thing," Terry said. "Just this big illuminated form."
A video which was uploaded on YouTube on the same day showed similar pattern over the Hollywood Hills.
"They were almost in a diamond or triangle shape," said Kaye Pinlac of Stockton who gave the YouTube video link to News10 . "Then they just started separating."
However it is not clear whether the sighting were real UFOs or any manned flights or lantern. ABCNews reported that there were no flight activities on that evening.
"There was no unusual flight activity reported Tuesday night," Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor told ABCNews.com.
