Last week, residents of Houston witnessed what can be termed as one of the most impressive Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO) captured in recent months.
The UFO looked like a circle of lights, hovering over the city of Houston. The strange and unexplained sighting appeared on 11 August, during a rainstorm.
"I think the trick in UFO's is figuring out what else they could be. It's easy to say that could be the aliens." WTSP quoted Carolyn Sumners, Vice President for Astronomy at the Houston Museum of Natural Science.
"If it's a real object and it looks like it is -- the more people who see it in different directions, the more likely we are to figure out where it is, what it is and see if we can explain it. All the way back to recorded history, there are going to be things we can't explain. That's what makes it exciting," Sumners added.

Similar sightings have been made in the recent past as well. On the day of August Supermoon, a photographer, while taking shots of the Earth's satellites, accidentally captured a rare object, which appeared to be an alien craft. The bizarre sighting is believed to be a UFO quickly flying past the Supermoon.
The strange footage was captured in a short video by the photographer, who later posted it on YouTube. It appears that the user was equipped with some powerful tools to capture the object on camera.
In another such sighting, a triangular shaped giant object was spotted on 26 June over Kassel, a city in Germany. The object was captured in a 37-second video by a witness, while shooting a video of kids playing.
"This triangle UFO was seen recently and it closely resembles a TR3B. The fact that the person blurred out the face of the kid and didn't get the UFO in the dead center of the video is what causes me to believe this is real. Also the lighting and shading on the UFO matches that of the trees, and the bars of jungle gym," said Scott Waring of UFO Sightings Daily.
