A UFO was observed and captured on camera in North Carolina's Ayden District Park by a 59-year-old US Air Force veteran.
He captured this extraordinary instance from his DJI Phantom 3 Professional 4K aerial camera and sent it to Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) for survey.
"This UFO video was captured with my DJI Phantom 3 Professional 4K aerial camera, the veteran stated as reported by dailystar.co.uk.
"I thought I had seen it all," he added.
A copy of this video was then handed over to NASA by the MUFON for further investigation and it was revealed that the video footage was shot at a velocity of of 10,000mph, from a distance of 50 feet from the Earth's surface.
"This footage took me back. I was flying my aerial camera from Ayden District Park. The skies were clear with unlimited visibility," the 59-year-old stated in a testimony to MUFON.
"I did not witness this object first hand; it wasn't until I reviewed the 4K footage on my 4K TV that I first spotted the object on video," the witness revealed.
The veteran is a retired officer from the United States Air Force (USAF) where he served for 20 years. He shot this footage on October 26, 2016 at 2:12 p.m.
After the video was investigated by MUFON and NASA, it was found that this alien object traveled at 6,200 feet (about 1.2 miles) in 1/3rd of a second, which is approximately about 10,000 mph, as per the YouTube description of this recording.
"I shoot in 4K/30fps and you can view this object in 10 frames as it flies towards and passes under my drone. During these 10 frames of viewing, this object travels three-quarter to one mile in one-third of a second – about 10,000 mph," the veteran described the video.
As per the vet, UFO appeared to be made up of metal which was luminous in nature as it reflected or emanated its own light, dailystar.co.uk reported.
This recording turned out to be a shocker for Sanford Davis, a MUFON investigator from North Carolina.
"It was observed as the witness was reviewing aerial drone footage," Davis stated in a report.
"The whole sighting occurs within a third of a second – a streak arising in the background, streaking across the screen before disappearing in the foreground. It appears as a white dot, flattening out somewhat into a 'light disk' right before it disappears off screen," he stated further.
