Astronaut Scott Kelly's stunning photo of the earth taken from International Space Station (ISS) has caught the interest of UFO (unidentified flying object) hunters with some of them claiming that a strange cigar-shaped object with lights at both ends could be seen in the picture and took it as a hint of aliens' existence.
Scott Kelly, who has completed 239 days of stay in the International Space Station (as on 21 November) and has broken the U.S. record for longest stay in space, used to share pictures taken from International Space Station on his Twitter page (via Fox News).
However, one of his recently photos taken when the ISS was over India, spiralled off speculations with UFO enthusiasts pointing out a large object with bright lights in the top right of the picture.
"When an astronaut tweets a photo of a UFO, you can bet people notice it. Scott Kelly likes to send out photos of the view from the windows of the space station...and they look cool," wrote Scott C. Waring of UFO Sightings Daily website.
"This one however has a cigar shaped glowing UFO with a metallic body in it. The UFO is about 25 meters long and 150-200 meters away. It looks like Scott was trying to hint at the existence of aliens," he added.
Interestingly, YouTube user sonofmabarker has made a video out of Scott Kelly's pictures with a description that reads: "Last night aboard the International Space Station astronaut Scott Kelly tweeted this photo. It was taken while the ISS was over India. In the upper right of the photo you can clearly see a large object with two lights on each end. It also appears to be very large and constructed."
Well, the object seen in Kelly's photo could be a reflection from the window glass of the ISS, or at the most space debris but conspiracy theorists are not willing to accept it.
