An Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) was reportedly sighted by a man above Lake Ontario last week.
On the night of 25 August, a man identified only as Gordon had let his dogs out for a run in his backyard when he reportedly saw a brightly lit strange object in the western sky, reported Syracuse Newtimes.
What Gordon spotted in the sky over Rochester, New York, looked like three brightly lit triangles, according to the report.
As soon as he spotted the unlikely sight in the sky, Gordon got his binoculars to get a closer look at it. According to his description, the triangles had flashing lights, coloured red, white, blue and green.
He further says that what he saw with his binoculars was not with the sharpest and that the bright object mostly stayed unmoving except for occasional small circular drifts.
"After watching for a while, I sort of decided that it was in a triangular shape and was rotating," said Gordon.
For a better look at what was an unclear sight, Gordon walked down the street towards the beach, where he "noticed another light, same deal, out over Lake Ontario."
While still at the beach, not long after he sighted the first two strange objects, he noticed a third object in the northern sky.
"There was another one, low in the northwest, like over toward Toronto," Gorgon said.
Gordon claims to have watched the three UFOs hovering over the skies of Lake Ontario for over an hour before "all three were suddenly gone" at about 11:15 pm local time. "They didn't move away, they went out," he said.
This is not the first time such strange sightings have been reported above the skies of Lake Ontario.
Earlier this year, according to a report by The Canadian, UFO sightings were reported by a witness in Hamilton over Lake Ontario on 7 December 2013. The witness even went to the extent of alleging the existence of an alien base under the lake as well.
The testimony of the witness was included in the database of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), according to the report.
"Walking home from my shift at work when a tingly sensation came over me. I looked up and saw numerous balls or orb like lights in the sky. I then felt sick and faint but kept focus on them. I tried to move but could not," the Hamilton witness was quoted as saying.
According to him, there were about 10 orbs hovering above the sky and then he saw them quietly move to the SE.
"I have seen many orbs or spheres out over the lake over the years", said the witness, further adding that he cannot recount 11 minutes of his time while he was witnessing the strange sight in the sky.
"This was real and I think it was aliens trying to communicate with me as I seem to have missed about eleven minutes of time."
