Popular conspiracy theory YouTube channel 'The Hidden Underbelly 2.0' has uploaded an eerie video recently which shows a huge UFO flying silently across the night skies of California. The object spotted in the video seems too large, and conspiracy theorists soon jumped to the conclusion that an alien mothership has reached earth.
The conspiracy theory channel reveals that the incident apparently happened on August 12, 2018. In the video, a gigantic object is seen hovering in the skies, and surprisingly, it does not make any noise at all. The shape of the object seems to be that of a disc, and it reminds us of the flying saucers we have seen in Hollywood sci-fi movies. The object also has lights attached to its body.
The video was initially uploaded online by a Reddit user named Business1.
"My boss showed me a video of a strange occurrence last night and I told him I would upload it to Reddit to see if we could get any explanations as it scared the crap out of him. He took this video at 10:28 PM PST on Sunday, August 12th," wrote Business1 in the video description.
The uploader also revealed that the object spotted in the skies was much larger than a helicopter, and as a result, the chances of the object to be a drone can be easily dismissed.
As the video went viral, viewers of the conspiracy theory channel suggested various theories to explain this creepy sighting.
"Wow, awesome brother! Great catch! I don't see how they can explain this one away to swamp gas or Chinese lanterns," commented Ben Driggers, a YouTube user.
"Amazing, great catch. That is definitely not a plane and no way to say it is. Thanks for sharing," commented Gina Santi, another YouTuber.
Even though the uploader has dismissed the drone angle, skeptics strongly assure that the object in the skies is a drone, and they make it clear that the flying object looks bigger as the camera is zoomed in.
