Holly Holm became a household after her shocking win over the veteran Ronda Rousey in 2005. The 35-year-old has seen a downside since. Can she however regain her glory with a victory against Brazil's Bethe Correia in the UFC Fight Night Singapore event on Saturday June 17?
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fans can remember that Correia had suffered an emphatic defeat against Rousey back in UFC 190.
They clash in a women's bantamweight match, with the winner getting an upper hand to possibly face the current champion Amanda Nunes next. Nunes, meanwhile, takes on Kyrgyzstan's Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 213 in July.
Therefore, it's better to say that either Holm or Correia could have opportunity to face the winner of Nunes vs Shevchenko, up next.
