Junior dos Santos and Stipe Miocic are set to face off once again, but this time it will be for the UFC heavyweight championship. The last time Dos Santos and Miocic fought, the Brazilian won via unanimous decision. But since that fight, Dos Santos lost to Alistair Overeem and defeated Ben Rothwell and has not stepped inside the octagon in more than a year.
During that time, Miocic went on to win four straight fights which included wins against Mark Hunt, Fabrício Werdum and Overeem. His win against Werdum got him the UFC heavyweight title and he defended it against Overeem four month later.

Despite being out of the sport for more than a year, Dos Santos has no doubt in his mind that he is going to walk out of the American Airline Center as the new UFC heavyweight champion. The Brazilian is determined to get back the heavyweight title and the tag of 'the baddest man on the planet'. He is predicting the fight to get over before the end of the second round.
"I have no doubts that I'm going to become champion, and what I miss the most, I miss the feeling to be the baddest man on the planet, to be the No. 1 in my division, to be the champion and live as the champion and enjoy it. We all work for that, and when we reach that point, it's amazing. I've been there before, and I want to be there again," MMA Junkie quoted Dos Santos as saying.

"I'm a very confident guy; I like to be positive. In my dreams, the way I see things going in the fight, I can see myself beating him before the end of the second round. I'm very well prepared. I'm living a great moment. I'm stronger, I'm smarter, I have more experience now, and I think it's the same with him," Dos Santos said.
Dos Santos seems is really confident that he will defeat Miocic at UFC 211 and has already eyed his next opponent: Anthony Joshua. Joshua recently defeated Wladimir Klitschko to extend his unbeaten in professional boxing. Dos Santos however feels that there can be only one baddest man on the planet and was willing to get into a boxing match against Joshua to see who is the baddest.
"I would love to have a boxing match. Since I'm going to be the UFC heavyweight champion and there can be only one toughest man on the planet, I would like to fight Anthony Joshua. Champion against champion. It would be sensational," Dos Santos said.
