The highlight of the UEFA Europa League last-16 this season will be just one game, and that is the game everyone had been waiting for.
Arch-rivals Liverpool and Manchester United will clash swords in the round-of-16 of the competition. While the first leg will take place at Anfield March 10, the second leg will take place at Old Trafford.
This is the first time the Premier League giants are meeting in the Europa League.
Reds veteran defender Jamie Carragher feels the result of tie will affect both Premier League powerhouses. "Great Europa League draw for LFC, if we win happy days if we lose LVG will probably stay!! (sic)," he tweeted.
Liverpool entered the last 16 by getting past Augsburg with a 1-0 aggregate score in the previous round, while United got past FC Midtjylland with a 6-3 aggregate score in the round of 32.
In another mouthwatering clash, two sides known for their fluid style of football — Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham Hotspur — will face each other in the last 16.
