There have been reports of Ajith Kumar and AR Murugadoss teaming up for a film to be produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin. Well, the producer has finally spoken about the upcoming project.
The News Minute reported that Udhayanidhi Stalin had told a private TV channel that the talks were in progress and more on the project would be announced soon. "Yes, we are in talks with Ajith sir and Murugadoss for a venture, talks are underway which will be officially confirmed soon," the producer-turned-actor claims. The upcoming movie will take off by the end of this year.
AR Murugadoss had made his directorial debut in Ajith-starrer "Dheena" way back in 2001. The mass entertainer had redefined the actor's image and it is from this flick he got his pet name Thala.
Following that, AR Murugadoss and Ajith could not join hands for one or the other reason. In fact, the director always expressed his interest to team up with the actor and had claimed on many occasions that he was willing to direct Thala, but the approval should come from the "Mankatha" star's end. It appears like the time is set for them to reunite.
AR Murugadoss is now busy with a bilingual movie starring Mahesh Babu. He is expected to start the forthcoming movie once he wraps up his this flick.
On the other hand, Ajith is getting ready to start his next movie with Siruthai Siva. The muhurat of the Tamil film will reportedly be held May 1 on the actor's birthday. But the regular shooting will begin only in June. It is being produced by Sathyajyothi Films and the flick will hit the screens in 2017.
The actor is also in talks with Vishnuvardhan for a historical project, written by Balakumaran. It is said to be based on a king from the Chola dynasty.
