The upcoming action thriller, "Dhoom 3", had two stuntmen and actor Uday Chopra getting injured on the sets while filming a bike stunt. Despite ending up with a fractured foot, Uday resumed shooting for the film in Chicago.
"I fractured my foot trying to do a stunt. Guess I should leave stunts to stunt men. Well, I guess I have eight weeks to really learn this lesson," Uday tweeted.
According to The Times of India, the incident was confirmed by a Yash Raj Films' spokesperson who said, "His foot is temporarily in a cast."
Meanwhile, Uday cleared the air regarding the film's shooting saying, "'Dhoom 3' will not get delayed. Apparently man invented pain killers for this very reason."
The third installment of the "Dhoom" franchise is this time being directed by Vijay Krishna Acharaya, instead of Sanjay Gadhvi, who directed the previous two series.
Besides Aditya, Abhishek Bachchan will also make a return to his original role as 'Jai Dixit' in the movie. The film's makers have also roped in Katrina Kaif and Aamir Khan, who will be playing a negative role. The 47-year-old actor has been undergoing intense training for his character and fans will see him riding a BMW K 1200 R unlike the other bikes seen in the earlier series.
The first promo of the movie is scheduled to release on Nov. 13 and the film is likely to hit the theatres early 2013.
