Ekta Kapoor's upcoming show "Kasam" made headlines after Ssharad Malhotra was roped in to play the lead role.
The latest one to join the cast of "Kasam" is Roma Bali, who had been part of shows like "Udaan" and "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon-Ek Baar Phir," India Forums reports. The actress has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the show.
However, Bali has chosen to remain mum on the report. "Talks are on, but nothing is confirmed yet," she told the web-portal.
Rumour has it that Yuvika Choudhary of "Bigg Boss 9" fame will be seen opposite Malhotra on the show.
"Kasam" will see Divyanka Tripathi's ex-boyfriend Malhotra's character as a casanova during the initial episodes, according to The Times of India. He will play the role of a rich Canada-return businessman who falls in love with a girl but soon loses her in a tragic incident, which changes his views on love and relationship.
"Balaji Telefilms' upcoming show on Colors will be based on Punjabi backdrop. The story will revolve around the filthy rich 'Canada return' Bedi family. Their elder son falls in love with a girl but soon tragedy strikes his love life, which makes him lose faith in love," India Forums quoted a source as saying.
"Kasam" will replace popular show "Meri Aashiqui Tum se Hi," which will air its last episode on Feb. 19.
