The Bengaluru office of San Francisco-based Uber at HSR Layout has been vandalised by its drivers on Tuesday, an online report said.

The cause of the attack is apparently the "lack of proper incentive structure", one of the drivers told NextBigWhat.

In August, Uber drivers in Hyderabad had staged protests after the company failed to pay incentives as agreed beforehand.

Drivers with app-based taxi aggragators such as Uber, Ola and Meru reportedly earn an average of Rs 50,000 to Rs one lakh a month, including incentives.

For every trip, a Uber driver is paid 80% of the fare, as per reports. Apart from this, the driver also gets a bonus of Rs 150 per trip during the rush hours and Rs 50 during normal hours.
