Bishenpur, Jan 07 (ANI): Police personnel shot down two suspected militants in an encounter in Bishenpur district of Manipur. Following a tip-off, police cordoned off a house in the district belonging to one Mohammad Mujibur Rahaman. The militants then started firing at the police. Police confirmed that two suspects were killed in the cross firing. The police also recovered two 9mm pistols, one grenade and some documents from the site. The two suspected militants were later identified as belonging to the separatist group United Revolutionary Front (URF).
