Oppo's strategy to start an online-exclusive brand is paying off well. Following the success of Realme 1, the company launched Realme 2 in India and it looks like the new budget smartphone is already a major hit. Realme 2 went on sale in India for the first time on Tuesday, and two lakh units were sold out in just five minutes.
The overwhelming demand for the Realme 2 is justified, seeing its premium features at such a low price point. But the downside of this flash sale is that many buyers weren't able to place their orders successfully. Fret not, Realme has another sale for Realme 2 scheduled for next week.
Realme 2 price starts at Rs 8,990 for the 3GB RAM+32GB storage model and there's a higher-end variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage for Rs 10,990. Both variants will be available exclusively on Flipkart next Tuesday, September 11. Like the first flash sale, customers will be able to buy the Realme 2 12 p.m. onwards.

In order to successfully purchase the device, buyers must stay vigilant and login to Flipkart minutes before the sale begins to be prepared.
