Ever since the transfer window swung into action, French international Paul Pogba has been one of the widely discussed player, with Manchester United as firm favourites to land their former youngster. Now, a deal is said to have been agreed to bring the midfielder to Old Trafford for a record transfer. People have been talking about the stunning money move to United on social media.
As per the reports of the Express, Pogba has flown to Los Angeles to get his medical done, after Juventus and Manchester United agreed on a deal.
When the deal finally goes through and gets officially confirmed, Pogba will become the world's highest paid player, with United paying more than £100 million. His 'superstar' agent Mino Raiola is also expected to make good amount from Pogba's signing. Rumours have already surfaced that the club will hand him the vacant number 6 jersey. This transfer will break Gareth Bale's £86 million deal from Tottenham Hotspur to Real Madrid in 2013.
Manchester United have made three confirmed signs so far, including Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Interestingly, Raiola played an important role in getting these two deals done as their agents. Eric Bailly is the third player United have signed this season.
With such signings, they are going to be one of the teams to watch in the English Premier League next season. Add to it Pogba's inclusion, United will be one of the most feared teams in the competition.
