TVS Motor Company tied up with online retailer Flipkart to sell its entire range of two-wheelers, except the newly launched Apache RTR 4V and the Victor in Bengaluru. All the two-wheeler models have been listed with a booking amount of Rs 3000. The website confirms delivery of two-wheelers in 10 to 11 business days and cash-on-delivery option is also available, depending on the area where the delivery of the bike is to be made.
Interestingly, the website lists the first generation of the Apache for sale. This model was launched in 2006 in India and discontinued with the second generation's entry in 2011. TVS also sells the second generation of the Apache via Flipkart. Apart from these Apache models, the online buying portal currently shows Star City range, Scooty Zest, Scooty Pep+, Sport and the Wego scooter.
Apart from TVS, the other motorcycle manufacturer selling its motorcycles via Flipkart is the Kawasaki. The Ninja 1000, ER-6n, Z800, Ninja 650R, Z1000, and Z250 motorcycle have been listed with a booking amount of Rs 3000. The Kawasaki ZX-10R, H2 and ZX-14R have been listed with a out-of-stock tag.
Earlier, popular UV maker Mahindra also inked tie-up with Flipkart to sell its latest SUV KUV100 over internet. The KUV100, which was launched in India on Jan. 15, can also be bought online trough Mahindra's own portal M2all.
