TVS Motors is gearing up for the launch of a new scooter and the company has dropped the first hint of it, releasing a teaser image. Although the teaser image does not reveal the entire looks, it shows the rear end of the upcoming model.
The tail-lamp of the teased model shares similarity with the TVS Scooty Zest. The upcoming scooter of the TVS could be the special edition of the Scooty Zest or a scooter based on this model. TVS is expected to reveal more details of the vehicle in the coming days, including pricing. The new Scooty Zest is likely to get revamped body graphics and colour schemes with additional features.
TVS Scooty Zest was recently updated to BS-IV norms in India. The model, priced at Rs. 46,238 (ex-showroom, Delhi), draws power from a 109.7cc, four-stroke, air-cooled engine that can churn out 8hp of power and a peak torque of 8.7Nm, mated to an automatic transmission. TVS Scooty Zest 110 features LED taillight, dual-tone seat colour, stainless steel muffler guard, USB charging port, 19-litre under seat storage, backlit and textured floorboard.
TVS had earlier launched the updated Jupiter in India at Rs. 49,666 (ex-showroom Delhi). The BS-IV compliant Jupiter scooter gets Auto Headlamp On (AHO) and Sync Braking System (SBS). The feature, which was previously offered in the ZX range, is now available on the base variant as well.
