Leading two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company has introduced 'Matte Blue Edition' for its Apache RTR 160 motorcycle. As the name suggests, the limited edition model is draped in matte blue and there are no other changes, reports gaadiwaadi.com.
The Matte Blue Edition of Apache RTR has also been spotted at the dealership and a snapped picture by BikeAdive.in indicates the new colour is available with the 160cc Apache. There is no confirmation on the availability of the new colour in the 180cc variant.
The Apache RTR 160 is currently available in yellow, grey, white, red and black colours in glossy finish. The motorcycle is powered a 159.7cc, single-cylinder, petrol engine producing 15.2bhp at 8500rpm and13.1Nm of torque at 4000rpm mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle measures 2085mm in length, 730mm in width, and 1105mm in height with a wheelbase 1300 mm. the TVS Apache RTR 160 also come with 165mm of ground clearance. The stopping power comes from 270mm petal disc brakes up front and 200mm petal disc brakes at rear.
Emerging reports also suggest that TVS is currently working on a 200cc Apache which will take design cues from the Draken X21 concept that TVS showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. The launch is rumoured in November and will be the most powerful TVS model to go on sale in India.
