The reports say that the body of Sabarna Anand was found in a decomposed state after her neighbours informed the cops on Friday, November 11, after a foul smell emanated from her apartment. The police say that there is an injury on her hand, and her body was reportedly lying in a pool of blood.
It is suspected that she died three days ago. The actress has reportedly left a suicide note, in which she has detailed her personal problems. She also revealed about her professional struggles and opened up on her failed relationship in the letter.
"We never expected that she would end her life. She was a talented artiste, but had a lot of personal issues. She used to be active on Facebook previously. But for quite some time, she wasn't. She was very bold," Indian Express quoted a close friend as saying.
Daugher of Anandkumar and Pushpalatha, Sabarna Anand hails from Udumalaipettai in Tiruppur district and her family has settled in Chennai. However, she preferred to live alone in her flat, which belonged to a stunt choreographer.
She appeared in TV soaps, mostly in negative roles. She has TV shows like Pasamalar on Sun TV to her credited and hosted quite a few TV programmes. Sabarna Anand was also seen in movies like Poojai, Kudiarasu and Kalai.
Her body has been sent to the Kilpauk Government Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem.
