It feels as if there is no escaping the "Bad Blood" star. Taylor Swift's "1989" tour is a PR blitzkrieg. And if you're not living under a rock, you would most probably know all about a tumblr collage which captures pictures of celebrities with their fans.
To be sure, there are two collages. One collage depicts celebrities such as Katy Perry, Avril Lavigne, Kanye West and Britney Spears looking really awkward or nonchalant standing next to excited fans.
And then there's Taylor Swift.
Her fairy godmother stance towards fans is saccharine sweet and frankly speaking, quite adorable. Perhaps that's why she liked the picture on Twitter.
Nevertheless, she received flak for it from "Sk8ter Boi" singer Avril Lavigne, who called her judgemental on Twitter and even tweeted a picture of her with fans, looking friendly and most importantly, camera ready.
The most recent news surrounding this Tumblr post is Kanye West's reaction. Kim Kardashian's husband is reportedly furious with Taylor for liking a picture that throws shade at him.
According to Hollywood Life, "Kanye is livid that Taylor took a shot at him. He thought they were all good now and is confused as to why she would shade him like this. He thinks she would be smart not to go down this road, as he will definitely go off on her if it happens again."
The "Stronger" star will be given the "Video Vanguard Award" during the MTV VMAs on Sunday, 30 August. And as soon as the announcement was made, fans wanted Taylor Swift to present him the award, reported Billboard.
Fans will remember correctly that Kanye dissed Taylor's music at MTV VMAs in 2009, when the rapper said Beyonce, not Taylor, deserved to win the moonman. If the "Shake It Off" star does present him the lifetime achievement award aka Video Vanguard Award, it could mend old and fresher wounds for Taylor and Kanye.
