"Tum Bin" enjoys a cult following and even though it has been 15 years, fans can't seem to get over the soul-stirring "Koi Fariyaad" song. Hopefully, the sequel to the popular romantic-drama won't disappoint.
The cast — Aditya Seal, Neha Sharma, Aashim Gulati — looks great and the rehashed "Koi Fariyaad" tune sounds amazing. For now, all seems to be working in the favour of "Tum Bin 2," but the makers are planning on making it even more special.
Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan have already promoted "Tum Bin 2" on social media. One would think it was out of a healthy friendship or a professional rapport, but turns out producer Bhushan Kumar wants cameos from the superstars, a source informed Mid-Day.
"Bhushan has ambitious plans for the film. He is close to both the Khans, so, you never know, he might just be able to pull off a coup even though it may be for a cameo," director Anubhav Sinha told the leady daily.
What else do we know about "Tum Bin 2"?
The team is quite edgy about being compared to the first one, but that is not how they are looking at it. For them, the sequel is a tribute to the first one and they are in no way trying to cash in on the success of "Tum Bin."
"We have tried to make better film. There is pressure and tension, but there is no way to deal with it as you can't avoid it (comparisons). We have given our best," Anubhav further elaborated at the teaser launch.
"Tum Bin 2" releases on Nov. 18.
