SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali - the Beginning" (Bahubali) remained rock-steady at the box office on Tuesday, taking its worldwide gross collection beyond Rs 200 crore in five days.
On Monday, "Baahubali - the Beginning" witnessed around 40% drop in its business when compared to its collection on the opening day. The movie, which saw decent advance bookings for its fifth day, got the same amount of response at ticket counters around the world on Tuesday.

"Baahubali - the Beginning" ran to packed houses in almost all cities of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Its Tamil version also got good response, with most of the cinema halls registering an average occupancy of 60% to 70% in Tamil Nadu.
The Malayalam and Hindi versions of "Baahubali - the Beginning" did superb business on the fifth day. All the four versions of the film did well in other parts of India and key international markets on Tuesday.
"Baahubali - the Beginning" grossed approximately Rs 23 crore in earnings at the worldwide box office on Tuesday, taking its five-day global collection to Rs 213 crore. The makers and distributors of the movie are happy with the performance of the movie at ticket counters.
The Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia starrer has become the fastest Rs 200-crore South Indian film grosser, beating records of Rajinikanth's "Endiraan" and Shankar-Vikram's "I".
Made in two parts, "Baahubali" is the costliest Telugu movie with a whopping budget of ₹250 crore.
Its first part, "Baahubali - the Beginning", has smashed lifetime records of all old Telugu movies and become the first Tollywood movie to cross the Rs 200-crore mark in gross earnings at the worldwide box office.
"Baahubali - the Beginning" is expected to collect another Rs 40 to 50 crore gross in the next two days to take its first week gross collection beyond Rs 250 crore.
