Salman Khan is undoubtedly one of the most popular faces of television industry, courtesy his stint in hugely popular controversial reality show Bigg Boss. And now, the superstar is set to add another feature to his illustrious cap. Salman is set to produce a television show.
Salman Khan's brother-in-law Aayush Sharma to romance Sara Ali Khan in his debut film?
The Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor, who was initially keen on producing a film based on the life of legendary Indian wrestler Ghulam Mohammad aka Great Gama, has dropped the idea of big screen adaptation due to several issues and has decided to make it into a TV series instead.
"This will mark Salman Khan's first television project as producer. The pilot episode has been shot and sent to the channel concerned. The story is set in Amritsar, Gama's home town, during the Partition. The show opens with a rioting scene and a few minutes into it, a 65-year-old Gama Pahelwan makes an entry," a source told Mid-Day.
If reports are anything to go by, then the pilot episode has already been shot and sent to the channel. Apparently, Sohail Khan, who was supposed to play the lead role in the film, will now essay the role in the TV series.
Meanwhile, reports have also been doing the rounds that the Tubelight actor will be hosting the Indian version of his rumoured girlfriend Iulia Vantur's Romanian show, The Farm. However, no further development regarding the show has been made by the makers.
