Colors' "Naagin" has topped the Television Rating Points (TRPs) once again in week 15 (April 9 to April 15) of 2016. Mouni Roy and Arjun Bijlani's supernatural show scored 4.4 TRPs, according to the data released by Broadcast Audience Research Council India, the television audience measurement agency.
"Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" secured the second spot with 3 points thereby pushing "Kumkum Bhagya" to the third position with 2.7 points. "Kumkum Bhagya" had been in the second slot for several weeks. Going by the ratings of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein," it appears like the post-leap story of the show has been keeping its viewers engrossed, while the never ending track of exposing Tanu (Leena Jumani) on "Kumkum Bhagya" seems to be affecting the show's ratings.
"Saath Nibhaana Saathiya" was at par with "Kumkum Bhagya" with 2.7 TRPs. "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai," which has been entertaining the viewers with interesting twists and turns, got 2.4 points. Surprisingly, Ekta Kapoor's fairly new show "Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki," managed to beat several popular shows in week 15. Ssharad Malhotra and Kratika Dheer's show garnered 2.2 TRPs.
"Sasural Simar Ka" secured 2.1 TRPs while "Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat," "Swaragini," "Comedy Nights Bachao" and "Diya Aur Baati Hum" secured 2 points each. "Udaan" and "Thapki Pyar Ki" received 1.8 points each.
"Siya Ke Ram," which is currently revolving around Ram (Ashish Sharma), Sita (Madirakshi Mundle) and Lakshman's (Karan Suchak) vanwaas (exile) scored 1.7 points. "Balika Vadhu," which has been in news for its impending leap, got 1.6 points.
