Speculations are rife over Game of Thrones stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie's marriage hitting a rough patch. The couple, who played on-screen lovers Jon Snow and Ygritte, met on the HBO's fantasy show in 2012 and tied the knot in June, this year.
According to OK! Magazine, the 31-year-old actor is heartbroken over the show coming to an end. A source close to Kit said: "Rose understands how he feels, but she wants him to snap out of it so they can go on a honeymoon."
"This should be the happiest time of their life and Kit is spending it crying in a corner over a TV show. She does her best to comfort Kit by pointing out that he has his whole career ahead of him," the insider added.
Meanwhile, Harington recently opened up about the "emotional" end to season 8 of Game Of Thrones. The English actor who wrapped up filming on 5 July, admitted that he is finding it hard to bid goodbye to his Game Of Thrones "family".
Speaking on BBC Radio 2, he said: 'It's just been this amazing journey. I kinda said to them on my wrap speech that it's always been more than a job. They were a family and it was my life. I've loved every minute of it. 'I've been quite emotional all last week thinking about having finished it.'
However, in 2017, Harington had explained why he thinks it is the right time for the hit HBO show to come to an end. He told Digital Spy: "Game of Thrones is coming to a very quick end, which I'm feeling emotional about. I've learned working with the Thrones producers what the job involves."
"It will be liberating, just the thought of having a whole year free - you shoot for six months, but half of the projects you might want to do will have started shooting before that six months is over," he added.
"There's a lot of things you can't do. I'm looking forward to finishing, and eight years is the right amount of time. I wouldn't want it to go on any longer than it has. I have other ideas I'd like to look at producing," he shared.
