Triumph Motorcycles India has expanded the grip of its "adventure motorcycles" in India with the launch of its new Tiger 800 XR at Rs 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Tiger 800 XR is powered by an 800cc, inline 3-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is tuned to dish out 94 BHP @ 9,520 rpm and 79 Nm of torque @ 7,850 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and the motorcycle features upside-down fork front suspension with 180 mm travel and a monoshock suspension at the rear with 170 mm rear wheel travel.
The bike's stopping power is taken care by twin 308 mm at the front and single 255 mm at the rear. It is offered with switchable ABS.
The Tiger 800 XR comes with a 19-litre fuel tank, 12V power supply outlet and a height-adjustable seat.
