British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph added the Bonneville T100 to its India portfolio on Tuesday, October 18. The Bonneville T100 has been priced at Rs 7.78 lakh (ex showroom Delhi).
Inspired by the iconic design of the 1959 Bonneville, the Bonneville T100 is powered by a 900cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, which produces 54hp at 5,900rpm and 80Nm of torque at 3230rpm mated to five-speed transmission. It weighs 213 kilos and comes with a fuel tank capacity of 14.5 litres. Triumph Bonneville T100 gets a single 310mm floating disc at front and a single 255mm disc at the rear, which takes care of the braking duties.
The new Bonneville T100 joins the line-up of Bonneville T120, Street Twin and Thruxton R. Bonneville T100 takes design cues from Bonneville T120 and comes loaded with premium features such as the Ride-by-Wire technology, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Switchable traction control, torque assist clutch and USB charging socket. It also has twin clock instrument cluster, which houses gear position indicator, odometer, trip settings, service indicator, clock and fuel level and traction control settings.
To be offered in three paint schemes -- Aegean Blue and Fusion White, Intense Orange and New England White, and Jet Black -- Bonneville T100 was at the Intermot show in Cologne earlier this month.
In India, Bonneville T100 will take on the likes of Ducati Scrambler and Harley-Davidson Iron 883 in terms of pricing. The bike will be available for purchase across the showroom and the new T100 is open for bookings starting October 18.
