Tamil star Trisha Krishnan is one of the favourite actresses not just for Tamil audience,
but also for Keralites, who are ardent followers of Tamil movies. The actress is now all
set to make her debut in Malayalam industry though she had earlier played as a Keralite
in the blockbuster Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa.
The talented actress will be paired opposite young star Nivin Pauly, who has made a mark
in both Mollywood and Kollywood. The duo will be joining hands together for National Film Award winning filmmaker Shyamaprasad's upcoming movie. Trisha has confirmed of being part of the movie through her Twitter handle. She has shared a Sify article that mentions on her Malayalam debut and writes: "Super excited❤️I assure you this is gona be a special one [sic]."
The actress is basking in the success of her last Tamil outing Kodi and has been garnering positive response for portraying a negative role in the Dhanush-starrer political thriller. Trisha has a handful of projects in her kitty, including Mohini, Sathuranga Vettai 2 and Garjanai, which have been lined up for the next year.
Meanwhile, Premam-star Nivin, who recently made a cameo appearance in the campus entertainer Aanandam, is awaiting the release of Sidhartha Siva's Sakhavu and Althaf Salim's Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela. The actor has also been roped in Gautham Ramachandran's Tamil movie, which is tentatively titled Santa Maria and director Atlee Kumar's upcoming movie.
