Simbu, who is busy with Gautham Menon's "Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada," will be seen in triple role in his next film with Adhik Ravichandran.
The actor had done dual roles before in films like "Manmadhan" and "Silambattam." But it is for the first time Silambarasan is doing three characters in a movie. Adhik Ravichandran has confirmed the news to Behindwoods and added that the movie will have three heroines to pair up with the characters played by Simbu.
Adhik Ravichandran said that the heroines are yet to be finalised and the hunt for the suitable faces are on. The makers will start the process of selecting the technical team once the leading ladies are confirmed for the film.
Many members from the team that worked in the director's debut movie "Trisha Illana Nayanthara" are likely to be part of the project, which will be bankrolled by Rebel Studios.
GV Prakash Kumar has been approached to compose the music and he is likely to take up the film. The last-time that he composed a Simbu movie was "Kaalai" way back in 2008.
"My film with Simbu will have action combined with love. Simbu has not done a genre like this before and it will be a new one for him," the director revealed to the website. The upcoming movie will begin in June or July.
On the other end, Simbu is occupied with "Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada," which will release later this year. He has paired up with Manjima Mohan in the film in which "Baahubali" star Rana Daggubati has done a cameo.
The actor's much-delayed "Idhu Namma Aalu," which is written and directed by Pandiraj, will release on March 24. The film has his ex-girlfriend Nayantara playing the female lead role.
