This year will prove to be a good year for the fans of all the three Khans as their films will hit the screens in 2016. Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan will once again compete with each other at the box office. In 2016, Salman's film "Sultan", SRK's "Fan" and "Raees", and Aamir's "Dangal" will entertain the audience.
Earlier, the trio's films released in the same year was 2014. Salman appeared in two films – "Kick" and "Jai Ho", SRK's "Happy New Year" became box office hit and Aamir gave a brilliant performance in "PK". However, last year, Aamir didn't come up with any releases, whereas SRK gave a Christmas treat with "Dilwale" and Salman created a record with "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo."
It seems 2016 will also be tough for the three Khans to compete against each other. While SRK is expected to make good business with his two unique films, Salman and Aamir's films have made headlines for being quite similar to each other.
"Salman and Aamir have their own individual fan base, no doubt. But if they are both playing Haryanvi wrestlers during the same year there are bound to be comparisons. And if Salman's film releases first he will have an edge over Aamir unless the two films are completely different in treatment. Even then, they are both films about wrestlers at the end of the day," Bollywood Hungama quoted a trade analyst.
"Sultan" and "Dangal" both revolves around wrestling and the characters the two are playing belong to Haryana, whereas Salman and SRK's competition is that their films are clashing as "Raees" and "Sultan" are releasing around the same time during Eid.
However, it looks like SRK will be one step ahead as one of his films, "Fan", will be released on 15 April and reports also stated that the "Dilwale" actor may avoid "Sultan" and "Raees" clash by releasing his flick on another Friday.
