Ever since Jose Mourinho has taken charge at Manchester United, he has made the club flex their economic muscles and has managed to rope in players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly already. Mourinho had mentioned earlier that he will be signing another player soon. As the transfer window is wide open, rumours will spread its wings.
Paul Pogba's move to Manchester United has been rumoured for quite some time now and as the season is going to start in less than a month's time, the fans are getting impatient.
According to Express, United are likely to pay £105 million for the Juventus star and the deal is almost done. It is being rumoured that the Frenchman is all set to have his United medical on Tuesday.
Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, has apparently given a deadline to the Red Devils to secure the signing of Pogba by the end of this month.
However, Mourinho will be travelling with the team to China for their pre-season tour, where they are scheduled to play against Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City and Galatasaray on July 22, 25 and 30.
Mourinho made an impressive start to their preseason as the coach. United quite comfortably defeated Wigan Athletic in that match on Saturday. It will be interesting to see if United complete the signing of Pogba before they leave for the tour of China.
If Pogba signs for United, then he is likely to earn around more than £200,000-a-week. A five-year contract is likely to be signed by this talented midfielder if at all he agrees to return to Manchester United.
Pogba is currently holidaying in the United States of America.
