The Transfer Deadline Day is here and the clubs in England are busy finalising their last minute deals with their targets. Arsenal have been linked to the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) striker Edinson Cavani for quite some time now and reports suggest that PSG have accepted a bid of £45 million from the Gunners.
According to Daily Star, Arsneal head coach Arsene Wenger has flown down to Paris to land the exciting Uruguayan striker at the Emirates.
It is now or never for Arsenal. Wenger had stated last week that they are working 24*7 on this summer transfer window to rope in the best players this season. But, it seems that they have failed to secure any signing so far since Friday.
Looking at Arsenal's current forward line, one would believe that they definitely need another striker who will ably play alongside Olivier Giroud. Theo Walcott has not been in the best of his touches in the current edition of the English Premier League and Danny Welbeck is yet to recover from his injury. Arsenal have not made a flying start to this season, but were expected to do better.

The summer transfer window will close at 6 pm BST (10:30 IST) on Tuesday, 1 September, and the Gunners are desperate to secure Cavani. The reports suggest that Arsenal have their eyes set on another PSG player, Adrien Rabiot.
Rabiot has been heavily scouted by the Gunners this season and Wenger is said to have believed that he will be an ideal alternative for the current defensive midfielder Francis Coquelin. Rabiot was on his way out from the French Ligue 1 Champions, but chose to stay put at the club and fought for his place, thereby signing a new contract with PSG. He almost completed his move to AS Roma in January earlier this year, but the deal failed at the last moment.
